The Gracia Arts Project is an ex-pat NGO on Calle San Honorat in Barrio Gótico, which was set up in 2000 as a way to collaborate a network of unknown artists and consciously pursue their talent and display their work. GAP recruits artists of all disciplines and then exhibits their work, a different exhibition every month in three languages, Catalan, Castillian and English. They do not have any specific criteria each artist has to fulfill, they are open to all sorts of expression and are keen to expand and broaden the abilities of individual, imaginative people.

GAP hopes to eventually expand into a 'versatile space' as they call it, in Gracia so that they can put on events like live music and theatre as well. This is dependent on the number of artists who they can find or who find them. They need a big group of like minded people willing to join together for the greater good of what they believe in.
