apartments BarcelonaLilipep is tucked away in the narrow streets of Borne, but is worth the visit for their amazing Catalan/German cuisine. Set up by a couple of these nationalities they offer Catalan and German specialities all day, a lot of which are vegetarian and freshly prepared on site ofcourse. Without doubt however the reason you should go is for a breakfast. They offer a German breakfast of brown bread, cheese, sausage and a hard boiled egg, which cannot be beaten!

holiday apartments barcelonaAt Comerç 24 you will find delicious 24, exploring the idea of "luxury tapas" very like Santa Maria. Dishes average around 10 euros each, so it works out at about 40 euros a head, when you've eaten and drunk. Make sure you book, and beware that the dishes are not enormous, so if you are starving you might leave still hungry!

The market has been restored by the big names of architecture Miralles and Tagliabue and in this restaurant you can eat four different types of food. Asian, Mediterranean, Italian and Vegetarian food is on offer all for a good price of about 20 euros a head.

barcelona accommodationCal Pep is one of the best know Tapas bars in the city with a seafood restaurant next door. It fresh, fun and delicious. Tapas ranges from 5-15€ and the restaurant from 35-40€ a head.

Origen restaurant in BorneOrigens is an amazing restaurant right in the heart of Borne. Their philosophy is locally produced ingredients and traditional recipes.

They serve lots of different dishes of meat, fish and pastas. For a starter you can have a "coca", chunky toast, with a delicious topping, or amazing stuffed vegetables, all for around the 5€ mark, and for your main dish of veal or cod you pay about 7 or 8€.
