Rosa Raval just off the Ramblas near the MacbaThere are two 'Rosas' in Barcelona, one Rosa Raval just off the Ramblas near the Macba and another Rosa Negra on via Laietana. They are both Mexican restaurants which serve great food and drink. They are accessible and fun, with bright interiors and a really relaxed atmoshpere. A meal is around 20 euros a head once you factor in a starter main and a few powerful cocktails. They do mojitos, margaritas and caipirinhas all for only 3,50 euros and they boast the best burritos in the city. You can choose lamb, beef, pork or prawn in your dishes and you will definitley find something you like out of nachos, tacos, tortillas, burritos etc.

holiday apartments barcelonaEl Quim de la Boquería is a stall in the famous market La Boquería, run by mother, father and son of the same family. They serve traditional Catalán dishes on the cramped bar. If you are lucky enough to find see a free place as you are walking passed then snap it up. If there is no room, try Pintxo just next door in the market for more great tapas and food. Tapas prices, so from as little as 3 euros, El Quim is a great place for lunch.
