El Quim de la Boquería is a stall in the famous market La Boquería, run by mother, father and son of the same family. They serve traditional Catalán dishes on the cramped bar. If you are lucky enough to find see a free place as you are walking passed then snap it up. If there is no room, try Pintxo just next door in the market for more great tapas and food. Tapas prices, so from as little as 3 euros, El Quim is a great place for lunch.

This restaurant is a wonderful mix of Catalán cooking with French inspiration and boasts being the favourite restaurant of King Juan Carlos in Barcelona. Average price is 90€ a head and it is essential to book.

The only place in the city where you can find authentic fish and chips, a proper English style chippy, from cod to sausages to haggis on Fridays, they have it all. Children and Adult portions, breakfast lunch and supper. A large fish supper is €7 a small €3.50.
