holiday apartments barcelonaEls Pescadors is one of the best fish restaurants in Barcelona. Aptly located very near the sea in Plaza Prim which is a lovely little square with lots of trees. There are few dishes without fish in them, but if you are a fish lover you will be in heaven. The menu costs about 35 euros a head.

Escriba

Monday, 11 January 2010 11:58 Eating out in Ciutatvella

holiday apartments barcelonaEscriba is a chain of three restaurants in Barcelona but the best one is in the best location right on the sea. Amazing paellas, rice dishes, tapas and an excellent wine list. If it's warm enough always try and get a table outside, but be sure to book as the place is always packed especially in high season. The general price a head is 35 euros.

El Quim

Monday, 11 January 2010 11:30 Eating out in Raval

holiday apartments barcelonaEl Quim de la Boquería is a stall in the famous market La Boquería, run by mother, father and son of the same family. They serve traditional Catalán dishes on the cramped bar. If you are lucky enough to find see a free place as you are walking passed then snap it up. If there is no room, try Pintxo just next door in the market for more great tapas and food. Tapas prices, so from as little as 3 euros, El Quim is a great place for lunch.
