Calle Tallers is one of the oldest streets in Raval and it is known principally for its many shops which sell all types of music, new and old, and all things to do with music. There are shops selling music from all decades and all genres and the street has an added charm about it, you get a sense that everyone there is a huge music enthusiast and loves it for the right reasons. Besides the music it also has many tattoo parlours and gothic like shops selling clothes, shoes and accessories for that trend.
The Corte Inglés is a Spanish department store very much like Peter Jones in the UK. It flagship store is in Madrid but Barcelona's store is equally as important as it sits on one side of Plaza Catalunya. It is nine floors high and has a restaurant at the top which has the most spectacular view over Montjuic. Its lower ground floor has all sorts of services on it, like key cutting and present wrapping and a fine food stall, full of amazing meats, fish, cheese and wine.
"Chocolat Factory" is an amazing shop owned by Michel Laline and Titus Ruiz. In fashionable decorated shops of this chain, you can find a wide selection of chocolate and gifts, which does not only taste delicious, but also have trendy, modern packages. It is a perfect place to look for some original gift, or simply buying for yourself a pleasure for the afternoon. Simply a paradise for those who like this speciality!
In Carrer Florida Blanca there is a shop "A Taste Of Home" offering good variety of English products. All of the food you are probably missing from home are there - over 2000 products including vegemite, Christmas goods, Gentelemans Relish. They delivers also food to home/ yachts and offices.
